DANCINGINTHEWOODS faces arguably his toughest task to date when lining up for a Class 2 0-100 handicap over 6f at Newmarket today after an absence of 208 days.
He was pulled out of Windsor last week because the ground was too soft but today he gets his ground which is officially Good. Other positives are that he goes well fresh, is a course and distance winner and has Hollie Doyle in the saddle.
However, it’s a very open race and after such a long lay off he might just be too keen. Nevertheless, we’re hoping for a good run but I’d be surprised if the 5yo, around 12/1, wins on his seasonal reappearance.
Good luck to Solario Racing (Ashridge)!
