YIMOU has been runner-up in four of his last five starts and so hopes to get back on the winning trail at Chelmsford tonight in a seven-runner 6f handicap.
The 6yo son of Kodiac is running in a 0-80 handicap for the first time this season and may appreciate the slightly easier grade than last time out when second in a 0-85 over course and distance.
Market support has been strong and he’s now favourite at 2/1. Robert Havlin, who rode him last time out, is in the saddle and although Maajdah and Araifjan look dangers, Yimou should go close.
