YIMOU AND TROPICS INTERESTING IN SAME SPRINT

Yimou

Yimnou – looks interesting dropping down to 5f

YIMOU and TROPICS may be at the opposite ends of their sprinting careers, with the latter still on the rise at the age of  five while the latter is now in the veteran stage aged 12 but they both compete in the 5.15 a Windsor tonight a 5f spring.

The former looked as though the drop down to 5f after his last time out effort over 6f might suit and he is an 11/2 shot under George Downing.  He looks interesting but the well handicapped Tropics under Sophie Ralston claiming 5lbs also may be worth an each-way look at around 20/1.

Lordsbridge Boy could be a horse to follow this year and makes his seasonal reappearance in the 6.15 at Windsor, a 12-runner 6f sprint under George Downing.  He might need the run but could still show up at around 7/1.  Four-year-old Dors Diamond lines up in the same race under Sophie Ralston but this is his first handicap run and although unexposed, one is guessing as to whether 60 is a good or harsh opening mark.
