Yimou – favourite at Yarmouth
THE STABLE pulled out two horses at Haydock today with the ground going changing to Good to Firm but Yimou will love the fast ground at Yarmouth and he should take the beating in the 4.20 at Yarmouth.
Only four go to post in the 0-85 6f handicap and the lightly-raced Yimou is evens to follow-up his victory at Newbury four weeks ago. Martin Dwyer, who was aboard that day, is again doing the steering.
Sittin’ Handy has a much harder task half an hour earlier in a moderate 12-runner handicap over 1m1f. Sophie Ralston takes 5lbs off the 25/1 shot who is having just his second run for the yard and his first on fast ground. If the quicker surface suits, he’d have an each-way squeak but confidence is tempered by the question mark over the ground.
