Wotadoll – solid each-way chance at Sandown
WOTADOLL , who has been runner-up on her last three starts, could go one better today at Sandown in the 2.50, a 5f handicap and the low draw (3 of 9) could help her cause.
She was second over course and distance last time out but was drawn wide. Today’s much lower draw should see her bang there under Martin Dwyer and with the ground good to soft and the filly, just three pounds then her win last autumn on good to soft, she looks a solid each-way proposition at 7/1.
At Doncaster, Eirene is as big as 16/1 for Group 3 Sceptre Stakes for fillies and mares over 7f but she won last time out, has been placed in both Group 3 events when running against her own sex and will appreciate any give in the ground. (The going is currently Good, Good to Soft in places).
Robert Winston rides and the Declaration Of War daughter has an each-way shout at big odds in a tricky race in which Anna Nerium looks a big threat.
