WINSTON RIDES TAGULA AND DORS AT TWO MEETINGS

Robert Winston

Robert Winston

ROBERT WINSTON, fresh from a 169/1 double yesterday has just two rides today, one at Salisbury and one at Nottingham and both are for his main trainer, Dean Ivory.

He starts with Tagula Night in the 3pm at Salisbury, where heavy rain has changed the going from Good to Firm to Soft, leading to several non-runners.  The 10 year-old son of Tagula may be getting a little long in the tooth but he’s well handicapped and with the changed going in his favour, he has a good each-way chance at 4/1 in the six furlong handicap.

Even if bad weather leads to heavy traffic, Robert has plenty of time to get to Nottingham to ride Dors Law in the 8.35, a handicap over 1m2f.  This 3yo Lawman filly has show ability and the drop back in trip may help.  Dean has always liked the filly and she has been well supported into 3/1 favourite.  She is expected to run a big race.
