ROBERT WINSTON has two rides at Windsor this afternoon (3.50pm and 4.20pm) and then hot foots it across to Lingfield for Cappananty Con in the 5.45.
Of his two mounts at Windsor, his first, Chil The Kite, looks to have a better each-way chance at around 11/2 than the topically named Rio Ronaldo, who has to cope with possibly unsuitable soft conditions in the 4.20 and is a 12/1 shot.
At Lingfield, the well-regarded Cappananty Con is a best priced 13/2 shot to go one better than on his second and last run when runner-up over 6f at Kempton. He drops back down to 5f and though he has the hot favourite, Pretty Vacant to beat, he looks to have an each-way chance.
At Chester, Dean Ivory’s four-time winner, Goldslinger, looks to get back on the winning trail in the 3.50 under jockey Cam Hardie and again at 13/2, he has each-way credentials in the mile and a half handicap.
