Dean Ivory – has a rare National Hunt runner
FOUR-YEAR-OLD THE CRUIX makes his racecourse debut today for the stable in a two mile bumper at Fakenham (4.55pm).
It is not often Dean has national hunt runners but this well-bred individual is by Galileo out of a Danehill mare and he’s bred to get a trip. The ground is Good to Soft which should suit given the sire and only seven go to post. He is the only one without experience but is quite short in the market at 8/1. James Bowen rides.
The Cruix has the breeding to go well but those with experience such as Trailboss are likely to have the edge.
