THE DUBAI WORLD CUP may be catching the international racing headlines tomorrow but domestically all eyes will be on Town Moor, the traditional curtain raiser to the turf season.
Eton Forever looks a worthy favourite for the £100,000 Lincoln. The Roger Varian trained 5yo son of Oratorio won last year’s Spring Mile and he heads the market at 6/1.
Forty minutes later, twelve go to post for the first two-year-old race of the year, the Brocklesby. Three years ago, Hearts Of Fire won the race and interestingly, Pat Eddery has the paper favourite, Marvelino for tomorrow’s contest.
We may not have a runner in the Brocklesby but we do have two very nice two-year-olds, one of whom is an Indesatchel colt from the family of Hearts Of Fire.
A Doncaster Premier Yearling Sales purchase, this long-striding colt was a February foal and he is shaping up into a nice two-year-old. The pedigree is full of black type winners including not only Hearts Of Fire but also Group One winner Lord Shanakill and Al Bahathri, Champion 3yo filly in Ireland. For full pedigree details, go into the Our Horses section of the web site.
This colt is showing plenty at home. If you would like to see for yourself, please contact the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 or email us at info@solarioracing.com to arrange a viewing.
