Villette – sound each-way claims at Kempton
VILLETTE may have been a shock 25/1 winner last time out at Newmarket but tonight at Kempton in the 8.15, a 1m3f handicap, the 4yo has a good chance of following up.
She tends to follow up big price wins with subsequent disappointing runs but having had a wind operation before her last win, it’s quite possible she could start to find more consistency.
Nine go to post and the daughter of Sixties Icon is drawn four under regular pilot, Rob Hornby. Having won twice at the course, including last time out over course and distance, she has sound each-way claims at 11/2. The favourite, Miss Blondel is an obvious danger.
