Varsovian – runs in a seller at Lingfield
VARSOVIAN is one of two stable runners tonight at Lingfield on the all-weather and the eight times winner has a good chance at the weights in the 6f seller, due off at 5.45pm.
Eight go to post and the four times course and distance winner has the beating of most of the field with the exception of Steelriver, who is weighted to beat the son of Refuse To Bend. The once raced Kavora, who was third on her debut last year is strong in the market and could also be dangerous but Varsovian looks overpriced at 9/4 and should run a big race under Robert Winston.
Robert is also aboard Soaring Spirits in the mile handicap at 6.50pm but the Tamayuz gelding may need the run after a break and he’s weak in the market at 14/1. The race is all about the hot favourite, Caribbean Spring, who is bidding for a hat-trick.
