Varsovian – runs in a seller at Windsor
VARSOVIAN has won nine times in his career, all on the all-weather but he has a chance to break his turf duck tonight in the 6f seller at Windsor (7pm) under Robert Winston.
He is well in at the weights with most of his seven opponents and providing he handles the ground, should not be far away. There has been support for Episcia and he may not be far away. However, 2/`1 looks a fair price for Varsovian.
In the lucky last at 9pm, Harlequin Striker runs in the mile handicap, again under Robert Winston. He could do with some cut in the ground and is a risky proposition at 11/4.
Dean sends two juveniles to Wolverhampton, Lordsbridge Boy (Martin Dwyer) and Jack Louie (Jack Duern), both in the 2.45, a 7f novice stakes but they are both big outsiders and are likely to have better opportunities further down the line.
