VALE OF YORK, the sire of Solario Racing’s exciting new yearling purchase at Donny’s Premier Yearling Sales this week, struck again today with another juvenile winner, Ruby Rose.
Having just her third run, the Kevin Ryan trained filly won over 5f at Wolverhampton by 1 1/2 lengths under jockey Franny Norton. This was the stallion’s ninth individual winner this year and put his first season strike rate at a very healthy 33%.
Vale Of York was a winner of three races in just seven starts for Godolphin, including the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile over an extended mile at Santa Anita. He earned £886,000 in prize money and was officially rated 118.
