Twilight Bay – runs at Chelmsford
TWILIGHT BAY is not only drawn wide at Chelmsford tonight (8.10pm) but she is a big market drifter, out to 18/1.
The filly disappointed last time at Leicester when she was very quiet and not right in herself. Today is a fact-finding mission as she sports first-time cheekpieces. The filly did work well at the week end but her demeanour is unpredictable and sometimes she can be almost too quiet at the races.
Hopefully, jockey Marco Ghiani can work the oracle as on her best form, she would go close in tonight’s Classified Stakes over 6f.
The yard may have a better chance with Bien Te Vi, who runs in the 5.50 at Kempton, a five-runner handicap over a mile with Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle. The handicap debutante is a 5/1 shot.
