TOAST OF NEW YORK BOLTS UP IN UAE DERBY!

Thewayyouare – sire of Toast Of New York

TOAST OF NEW YORK justified trainer Jamie Osborne and owner Michael Buckley’s bold decision to send him to the UAE Derby when bolting up in the $2 million Group Two at Meydan today.

The son of Thewayyouare, who cost just $35,000 as a yearling, was a previous winner of two races at Wolverhampton by an aggregate of twenty-eight lengths.  Despite the huge step up in class, today’s winning margin was an impressive two and a half lengths as jockey Jamie Spencer took it up two out.

Toast Of New York’s previous four races as a juvenile notched up £5,106 in prize money. Today, in the Meydan sun, he collected over £722,000!  It was also trainer, Jamie Osborne’s biggest success since Milk It Mick’s win in the Dewhurst back in 2003.

Thewayyouare has made a fantastic start to his stallion career with winners from his first crop in Britain, France, the United States, New Zealand and now Dubai.

Solario Racing has a very exciting two-year-old from Thewayyouare’s second crop.  A February foal, he is an early sort who is being prepared to make his racecourse debut in May.  Physically, he is a strong individual with bags of scope.

He is being syndicated in 1/12th shares and there has been a lot of interest in him recently, even before his sire’s big win in Dubai.  If you wish to come and see him on the gallops, please call the Racing Office on 01442 877 597.
