COOLMORE stallion Thewayyouare’s stud fee has almost doubled for 2014 from 4,000 to 7,500 euros.
The son of Kingmambo with a superb stallions’s pedigree which boasts Miesque, Blush With Pride, Mr Prospector, Nureyev, Northern Dancer and the imperious Sadler’s Wells, has certainly set the breeding world alight with his first crop. The increase in his fee is no surprise given the success he has enjoyed with winners in England, France, the USA and Dubai.
Toast Of New York is clearly the flag ship bearer with his recent impressive win in the $2 million UAE Derby in Dubai. However, he has sired other highly promising individuals including Never To Be, an 84-rated dual winner for John Gosden and Prince Mambo, who was second in a Group One in New Zealand. French winners, With Rhythm, Hug And A Kiss and Secret Admirer all have Group One targets.
Solario Racing has a very exciting 2yo from Thewayyouare’s second crop who is on schedule to make his racecourse debut in May. A strong, speedy individual with plenty of scope, he is being syndicated in 1/12th shares and is in training with Dean Ivory who enjoyed a record season in 2013.
