DEAN IVORY, enjoying a record season for the third year running, posted another winner on the board this evening, courtesy of Tangramm at Wolverhampton.
Despite having two runners in the race, Tangramm, who was having just his second run for the stable, was the more fancied of the runners and justified favouritism at 2/1.
The 3yo son of Sakhee’s Secret was second at Kempton, beaten just a short head last time out, his first run for Dean. This time, his first on the Tapeta surface, he made no mistake, scoring by a length under Pat Cosgrave.
This was Dean’s 32nd win of the campaign at a strike rate of 14%.
