THE exciting chestnut 2yo gelding by Tamayuz x Pin Cushion is now fully subscribed in the Solario Racing (Berkhamsted) syndicate.
His work has been eye-catching during recent weeks and he’s definitely turned a few heads with his long stride. Current and previous owners have been keen to get involved in what looks a promising 2yo who is due to make his racecourse debut next month.
The son of Pin Cushion has been for one racecourse gallop at Kempton and the plan is to take him for another one very soon. He’s done plenty of stalls work and has behaved impeccably to date.
In the meantime, the syndicate members are going to have his Naming Day on Wednesday 25 August at Harper Lodge Farm. All the votes have been counted and the winning name will be announced during the morning over a glass or two of Champagne! Will it be Jerrythepacemaker, Bargello or perhaps Major Kingpin? Who knows? I do but my lips are sealed until Wednesday!
Solario Racing purchased two yearlings last October and although the Tamayuz 2yo is fully subscribed, there is one quarter share available in a nice filly by Twilight Son x Winifred Jo (Bahamian Bounty), named Twilight Bay. She is a half-sister to four winners including the 79-rated dual winner, Sir Maxi.
Twilight Son is having another good year on the track with his progeny. This season his offspring in Britain and Ireland have recorded 28 individual winners at an impressive 34% strike rate. This is a higher strike rate than stallions Kodiac, Showcasing, Acclamation and even the great Galileo!
The attractive sprint-bred 2yo filly is eligible for the £20,000 Great British Bonus Scheme. If you wish to get involved in an exciting, well-bred filly, you are welcome to attend a private viewing.
