SWISS CHIME BACK TO SOUTHWELL

Swiss Chime - returns to Southwell

Swiss Chime – returns to Southwell

SWISS CHIME, who won at Southwell on New Year’s Day, heads back to the fibresand to try and recapture winning ways when lining up for the 6.30, a five-runner handicap over 5f.

Her win was a  novice auction over course and distance and in two runs since at Kempton and Lingfield, she’s put in contrasting performances.  At the former course, she was last of six but at the latter 20 days ago, she ran better when third of six, beaten just half a length.

The daughter of Swiss Spirit does need to improve to win again and today’s she’s weak in the market, the outsider of the party at 11/1.  Kieran O’Neill, who won on her, is back on board.

There has been a lot of support for the very well backed favourite, another course and distance winner, Fair Alibi and he looks the most likely winner.
