DEAN runs three horses at Kempton tonight, Usseglio (6.15pm), Badenscoth (6.45pm) and I’m Right On Time (7.45pm) and all three have been supported.
The first runner is in a three-runner novice for 4yos and upwards. Despite the support from double figures into 8/1, it looks a very tough ask for a horse to take on the likes of Isomer and Khamry on his racecourse debut.
Isomer is rated 95 and was second behind Churchill as a juvenile at Royal Ascot. If he comes back to anything like that form, he’ll be hard to beat while Khamry was second on his debut, the form of which has worked out well. Usseglio is a lovely horse with a future but he’ll be doing well to win tonight. Robert Winston rides.
Badenscoth, twice a winner on the all-weather, including once at Kempton is one of ten runners in the mile handicap. A course and distance winner, he is drawn wide in ten but that did not stop Jack Duern, who rides tonight, from winning on One Cool Daddy, drawn 12 of 12 in mid-week. Well supported into 5/1, Badenscoth should run well.
Finally, I’m Right On Time make his handicap debut over 1m4f and again Jack Duern rides. The 4yo Dutch Art gelding showed ability last year without ever really threatening. He too has come in for market support into 12/1.
Good luck to all three stable runners!
