SUGAR TRAIN’S FULL BROTHER SECOND AT CHELTENHAM

Sugar Train (nearside)

SUGAR TRAIN’S full brother, Nutcracker Prince, was second in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham yesterday, beaten just a neck.

The four-year-old, trained by Shaun Lycett and ridden by Peter Carberry was having just his second run, having been third in a bumper at Huntingdon last November.  This was a step up in class and a fine effort in a race which usually turns out to be half decent (The New One won it in 2012).  Racing over 1m 6 1/2 furlongs yesterday, he is sure to appreciate a step up in trip.

Sugar Train, one of the two Cropredy Lawn Racing horses is due to make his debut in a bumper this month.  If you would like to get involved in this exciting new syndicate, why not come and see Sugar Train on the gallops before he runs?  To arrange a day, please call Racing Manager, Simon Double on 01442 877 597.
