SUGAR TRAIN, one of the two horses trained by Paul Webber for the new Cropredy Lawn jumps syndicate, did a nice piece of work today in front of prospective owners.
He went with four times winner, Firm Order, rated 127 over fences and 5yo Turkey Creek, second on just his second bumper outing. Beautifully bred, the 4yo Rail Link gelding out of a Sadler’s Wells’ mare is a half-brother to a Group One winner. Paul was pleased with the work and is aiming Sugar Train at a bumper in four to six weeks’ time.
The other horse in Cropredy Lawn Racing, a 20-share syndicate is a 3yo gelding by Kalanisi out of a four-times winning dam. Being only three, he is not as forward as Sugar Train but is expected to make his bumper debut soon after Christmas….which is not that far away!
The national hunt season soon starts to step up a gear. If you would like to get involved in Cropredy Lawn Racing, please call Racing Manager, Simon Double on 01442 877 597 for details including a full colour brochure.
