Robert Winston – two rides at Thirsk
SURFINA makes her nursery debut for Dean Ivory today in the 5.10 at Lingfield and the daughter of Acclamation hardly looks thrown in off a mark of 56.
She is one of ten runners in the 5f contest on the turf and while the trip and good to firm ground will suit, the number one draw is not ideal. She is around 11/1 and needs to find improvement to take a hand.
Interestingly, she is ridden by Kieran O’Neill as Robert Winston has two rides at Thirsk, Dark Wonder at 3pm and Tribesman at 5pm. Both look to have realistic each-way chances.
