Sabra, Aarti, Sarah and Martin enjoy a glass...with Buster!
SOLARIO RACING and Bowstridge Farm yesterday played host to two ladies from the St Albans Chamber of Commerce who enjoyed a morning’s private tour of the stables.
Aarti Parmar, Director of Marketing and Communications at Bang & Olufsen of Harpenden and Sabra Swinson, Director of Cerco Communications in St Albans were shown around personally by Martin and Sarah Bosley. They saw horses, both flat and jumpers in their individual stables and limbering up in the indoor school before working on the gallops, which included 2yo Gunning For Glory who caught the eye.
Throughout the morning Martin and Sarah regaled Sabra and Aarti with their tales of the turf. Despite one of the wettest of summers in recent memory, the sun shone in time for champagne and canapés al fresco in the trainer’s garden.
After three and a half hours, Aarti and Sabra reluctantly left to go back to the real world…running their respective businesses! But I think Bowstridge Farm might be seeing them both again before too long!
