Spring Romance – each-way chance at York
SPRING ROMANCE, winner of five races including last time out at Nottingham at 25/1, runs at York tonight in a competitive 18-runner sprint handicap over 6f and he goes there with more than a sporting chance.
Drawn eight is ideal, the track should suit and Joey Haynes, who rode him to victory a month ago is in the plate. The 4yo son of Zebedee has come in for support and is around 10/1. If one was to run a sprint handicap ten times, one would often get ten different results but the stable runner, selected by the Racing Post, is a progressive sprinter and if he gets luck in running, will hopefully be there or thereabouts. Our Little Pony, Double Up and Tricky Dicky look just three of many dangers.
