Spring Romance – loves it at Lingfield
SPRING ROMANCE is one of three stable runners today when one of 12 to line up in the 6f handicap at Lingfield (12.10pm) and with his good record at the track, he looks to have a sound each-way chance at 14/1 under Joey Haynes.
He hasn’t run for four months but in three outings at Lingfield, he has been first twice and fourth with the two victories both being over 5f. He is well drawn in one and Joey Haynes won on him at Nottingham in June. It’s a tricky contest but he looks overpriced.
Lucymai by contract loves Chelmsford and she return to the scene of her five times course and distance successes when one of nine runners in the 5.30 at Chelmsford, a 7f handicap. Joey Haynes hot foots it from Lingfield and at 11/2, she too has each-way claims.
Bruyere is weak at 12/1 in the lucky last at Chelmsford but a winner last time out on the turf at Yarmouth under Martin Dwyer, she is another with each-way claims at 12/1.
