SPIRITS DRAWN IN THE CAR PARK AT CHELMSFORD

Soaring Spirits - badly drawn at Chelmsford

Soaring Spirits – badly drawn at Chelmsford

SOARING SPIRITS, a model of consistency for the stable with three wins and four places in his last seven starts, has it all to do from a wide draw at Chelmsford this evening in the 8.10, a 6f handicap.

He is still a pound below a winning mark but drawn 12 of 14 is no easy task and that might just be the Tamayuz gelding’s undoing.  He has taken a walk in the market and is as big as 9/1.  Of course, if he won, that would look a huge price in hindsight but Robert Winston and the horse are both going to have to be at the top of their game, if they are to win today.

The better drawn Dutch Golden Age and Vimy Ridge, both strong in the market, look to have more going for them.
