Soaring Spirits – winning at Brighton last year
SOARING SPIRITIS bids to repeat his win of a year ago when one of seven runners in the 7f handicap at Brighton, due off at 2.45pm.
He is 8lbs higher than a year ago so this is obviously tougher but he should not be far away under Robert Winston in a race in which With Approval looks a major danger. Spirits likes Brighton and he looks a fair price at 3/1.
The stable also runs Jack The Laird at 4.15pm, an eight-runner handicap over 6f and the first time hood might work the oracle on this tricky ride. Strong in the market, he is worth an each-way look at 4/1, again under Robert Winston.
