SOARING SPIRITS is back at Brighton today (5.15pm) for the third time running and he bids to win back-to-back wins under Robert Winston.
Last time out the 6yo Tamayuz gelding made all and won over 6f. Prior to that, he made a front-running ride over 7f but was collared a furlong out by Hawk Moth, who was due to run today but has been declared a non-runner in today’s 7f handicap.
With four non-runners, only six go to post, including Malaysian Boleh, who looks one of his main rivals. However, as he is still well handicapped, the Harper Lodge Farm 5/2 favourite could make it pay for Robert Winston’s trip to the Sussex track for his only ride of the day.
