Soaring Spirits – runs at Brighton
SOARING SPIRITS is one of five runners in the 3pm at Brighton today, a 6f handicap and 7lb claimer, Sophie Ralston takes over the reigns for the first time.
The 9yo chestnut gelding has a good record at Brighton having won at the seaside course three times but he may appreciate further than 6f nowadays. However, he could run well off a mark of 61, has the blinkers back on and has an invaluable 7lbs off his back. He could get involved at around 8/1 although Barritus and Under Curfew look big dangers.
At Windsor tonight, Red Moon Lady looks to have a lot on her place in the 6f novice at 7pm. Joey Haynes is aboard the 25/1 shot.
