SOLARIO RACING raised £1,800 for Marie Curie Cancer Care at the charity’s annual Autumn Lunch at London’s Four Seasons Hotel on Friday, topping last year’s £1,700.
Solario donated a five-star champagne racing experience including a private tour for two of Paul Webber’s fabulous 200-acre private stables with champagne hospitality. The second part of the experience was a hospitality event at Newbury in the Racegoers’ Restaurant…with of course more champagne!
The auction, comprising 10 items, was conducted by renowned Christies’ auctioneer, Hugh Edmeades and he did a wonderful job in realising nearly £25,000 for the cancer charity. The afternoon’s proceedings in total realised £46k net profit for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
