Sharp Distinction (right) runs at Sandown Park
SOLARIO RACING has two horses running today, SHARP DISTINCTION in the 4.40 at Sandown Park and TARITINO in the 5 o’clock at Yarmouth.
The former is having his first run for Amy Murphy and it’s only his second run of the year as we’ve been waiting for ground with some cut in it. He’ll certainly get that as it’s Soft at Sandown Park but we’re hoping it’s what he needs. The trip if 1m2f which should suit and Stefano Cherchi, claiming 3lbs, takes the ride. Phantasy Mac, the favourite is a big danger as is the well supported Lady Darling from the Amanda Perrett yard. At 18/1, the Solario Racing runner looks worth an each-way look.
At Yarmouth, Taritino, the mount of Cieren Fallon, is on a fact-finding mission in a 0-80 five-runner nursery handicap as he was upset last time out at Redcar and didn’t run his race. Hopefully, he’ll behave and run his race. It’s a tricky contest with all five in with a chance but if he behaves, he could run a nice race. He’s a drifter in the market at 8/1.
