DEAN IVORY drops SECRET BIRD to five furlongs for the first time when competing in a 0-55 handicap at Wolverhampton today (5.45pm) and with last time winning jockey Lulu Stanford aboard, he could be of interest.
The 7lb claimer gave the 4yo Arcano gelding a great ride last time out from a bad draw at Chelmsford in an Apprentice race and today, although up against the professionals, Lucy’s 7lb claim could be invaluable. The horse is 5lb lower than a winning mark last year, so he should not be far away if given the same positive ride.
