SAKHEE’S SECRET WINNER NUMBER FIVE

Sakhee's Secret filly - Chiltern Secret

SAKHEE’S SECRET continued his good recent run as a first season sire with a runaway winner this week, courtesy of Arthur’s Secret.

The John Quinn trained chestnut colt bolted up by eight lengths on its debut at Beverley on Tuesday over seven furlongs under jockey Michael O’Connell.  Interestingly, the ground was Good to Soft and while the colt clearly handled it, the trainer said: “He coped nicely with the ground but it was ability that won it for him”, suggesting possibly that he’d appreciate better ground.

This was the 2007 July Cup winner’s fifth winner of the season which puts him second behind Sixties Icon in terms of individual winners among First Season Sires in Britain and Ireland.

Solario Racing has its own chestnut Sakhee’s Secret, a filly out of a Royal Applause mare called Chiltern Secret.  She is showing up very nicely at home and is due to make her racecourse debut within the coming weeks.  If you wish to come and see her on the gallops, you are more than welcomel.  To book a private viewing, please call Racing Manager, Simon Double on 01442 877 597 or email us at info@solarioracing.com.

But like the filly, you’ll have to be quick!  She’s nearly fully subscribed!
