Wotamadam – runs at Lingfield
DEAN IVORY is a dual purpose trainer and today he has runners under both codes with Wotamadam at Lingfield (2.55pm) and The Cruix at Huntingdon (4.20pm).
The former is one of 12 runners in the 6f handicap on Lingfield’s all-weather and this lightly-raced 4yo daughter of Lethal Force, who ran well over course and distance last month after a long lay-off could run well if putting a disappointing run last time out behind her. She has an each-way chance at 9/1 under Robert Havlin.
At Huntingdon, the beautifully bred The Cruix makes his racecourse debut under Aidan Coleman. By Galileo out of a Danehill mare, the 4yo chestnut gelding only cost 5,000 guineas at the sales. If he lives up to his pedigree rather than his price tag, he could have a future! He’s interesting at 8/1.
