DEAN IVORY is eyeing some major races at Royal Ascot next month with some of his leading lights including stable star Tropics.
The 115-rated 7-y-o son of Speightstown is entered in the Group One Diamond Jubilee Stakes over 6f on the final day of the royal meeting. There are 43 entries and of the British contingent, he is joint-second rated with Aljamaaheer behind the 118-rated G Force.
Lancelot Du Lac, rated 108, is also entered in the Jubilee as well as the Group One King’s Stand Stakes on the opening day.
Last year the Radlett handler’s best 2yos were Rosie’s Premiere and Stake Acclaim, who are currently rated 90 and 82 respectively. Both are entered in a new addition to the Royal Meeting, the Commonwealth Cup, a Group One sprint over 6f for three-year-olds only which will be run on the Friday.
