BLUE REVELATION looks a horse to follow after his comfortable win at Lingfield last Wednesday, on his first run for Paul Webber.
Despite a 15-month absence, the former Johnny Murtagh trained 3yo son of Exceed and Excel was well backed into 5/4 favouritism before the off in the mile maiden and the support was fully justified.
Always in contention under George Baker, the gelding hit the front inside the final furlong and won with a shade up his sleeve. The maiden may not have been the strongest in the world but Blue Revelation could do no more than win and he looks to have plenty more improvement in him.
Dean had a quiet week with just four runners and none troubled the judge.
