Dean Ivory – won with Nezar at fourth attempt
NEZAR was having just his fourth run for Dean Ivory when winning at Wolverhampton last week.
The 6yo son of Mastercraftsman has been beaten a neck at Kempton last month over 6f and despite going up 3lbs for that effort, won by a comfortable 1 1/4 lengths at Dunstall Park over the same trip under Robert Winston.
Of the other four stable runners, the consistent Jack The Laird was 4th at Kempton, beaten 3 1/4 lengths with Jack Duern aboard.
