RED COSSACK WORKS WELL ON THE GRASS

Red Cossack (nearside) works with Codebreaker and unraced 2yo

RED COSSACK went for an “away day” to Hughie Morrison’s stables at East Ilsley on Saturday to work on the grass.

After an overnight shower, the ground was perfect and after a limbering canter on the all-weather, the 2yo son of Rebellion did a piece of work over 6f with 3yo Codebreaker and an unraced 2yo.

Starting off on the all-weather, the three chestnuts joined the turf gallops and the riding instructions were for the horses to finish upsides.  While the three horses did just that, Red Cossack on the nearside went most easily, never coming off the bridle.

If you wish to get involved in a very exciting prospect, do not delay as he has races lined up at Kempton on 29 August or Leicester on 3 September, both over 7f.
