RED COSSACK has wintered well and is being prepared for his seasonal reappearance by trainer Paul Webber.
The 3yo son of Rebellion did his first piece of proper work yesterday with two others, a 3yo and an older horse and he went nicely, drawing away on the bridle. Many of the syndicate were on hand to see the work and were impressed with what they saw. Physically the horse looks well and mentally, he seems to have grown up a bit although he will always be quite an exuberant type!
The 73-rated son of Rebellion was second on his third outing last year, beaten just a length and while he should get a mile, we will keep him to 7f for his first run of the year which should be towards the end of next month.
