Red Cossack – entered at Leicester
RED COSSACK, the three-year-old owned by Solario Racing (Banbury) and in training with Paul Webber is on schedule to make his seasonal reappearance at Leicester on Saturday.
The son of Rebellion made a promising debut at the East Midlands track last September and was subsequently fourth and second in two Kempton maidens. He makes his handicap debut this week end over seven furlongs in a 0-75 for three-year-olds only and Jimmy Fortune who rode him twice last season has been booked to ride.
Red Cossack aka “Rebel” and “Lenin” has been on a couple of awaydays recently including Towcester racecourse yesterday morning. Neither trainer nor Racing Manager saw much as the course was enveloped in thick fog! However, his rider was happy and we are hoping the horse runs well on Saturday.
