REBELLION OVER! DEMOCRACY RULES WITH RED COSSACK!

Solario Racing(Banbury) owners toast Red Cossack

RED COSSACK rules the roost!

The Solario Racing (Banbury) Owners met today at Cropredy Lawn for the Naming Day of their Rebellion 2yo and the democratically chosen name was Red Cossack.  Its Bolshevik connotations were not lost on the duly assembled gathering.

The morning started with the owners seeing their pride and joy doing two canters up the all-weather gallops.  He went with Rajnagan, a 64-rated older horse on the flat.  While it was only a canter and not serious work, there’s no doubt Red Cossack held his own.

The owners then saw several horses splashing through the water walk before being treated to seeing Time For Rupert going for a swim in the equine pool.

After toasting the horse’s name in Paul and Ku’s kitchen with the customary Solario Racing champagne, we then adjourned to The Inn at Farnborough for some wonderful fayre and the odd libation!  Solario Racing owners certainly know how to party but on this occasion, as many were driving, caution was the order of the day.

Much of the conversation amazingly enough focussed on Paul and Ku’s chicken operation and how an abundant array of assorted eggs (white, brown, blue!) were collected each morning by the stable staff.

Yours truly enquired as to whether there were any syndicate opportunities in the chicken world.  To date (though never say never) Cropredy Lawn has no plans to syndicate chickens.

In the meantime, with no evidence of any fowl play, RED COSSACK still rules the roost!
