Zac Baker sits on Rebellion colt
THE Rebellion yearling colt, purchased at Doncaster’s Premier Yearling Sales a month ago for £16,000 was ridden yesterday for the first time and he took it all in his stride.
Zac Baker had laid over his back the day before in the stables but yesterday after this fine looking chestnut was lunged by Sarah Bosley, Zac laid over him in the indoor school and within seconds was on his back and walking him round.
He has been a very vocal individual since he arrived at Bowstridge Farm (the colt, not Zac) and never seems to stop hollering. Think he maybe a frustrated equine karaoke star! However, despite the excessive exercising of the larynx, he is thoroughly professional in his work and looks a very exciting prospect!
