PENNY DROPS FOR THEWAYYOUARE 2YO AT KEMPTON

Major – getting the feel of Kempton

SOLARIO RACING’S exciting 2yo by Thewayyouare went to Kempton today for some pre-race debut experience and he pleased both trainer and Racing Manager.

He did a nice piece over 6f alongside another Dean Ivory 2yo by Gold Away with Solaro Racing’s 3yo Amadiva as lead horse.

The Gold Away 2yo was recently purchased at Tattersalls’ Craven breeze-up sale for 62,000 guineas, so naturally he knew his job today and finished nicely.

Thewayyouare 2yo, ridden by stable apprentice Paul Booth, was predictably green early on and was on the wrong leg on the bend.   However, he soon switched legs and though two or three lengths down a furlong out, the penny dropped and he made up good ground during the last half furlong.

Solario Racing will be naming “Major” (his stable name) in two weeks’ time, so if you wish to get involved in a an exciting 2yo by sire of the moment and take part in the naming process, please call the Racing Office on 01442 877 597.
