PAUL WEBBER’S team of talented equine individuals has started to hit top gear with the yard sending out three winners in eight days.
Firm Order kicked off proceedings with a win in the amateur chase at Sandown on 5th December. This was followed by Rhapando’s deserved success at Leicester five days later, having been a last fence faller at Donny on his previous outing. Clearly, there had been no dent to his confidence as the 9/1 shot obliged. Sixtysomething then justified favouritism on Friday with a comprehensive victory at Town Moor under jockey Jake Greenall.
As well as three wins, the yard has had three seconds in the last fortnight, courtesy of Orchard Boy, Lady Kathleen and Tafika and nine of the last 15 runners have been in the first four.
Cropredy Lawn entertains annual members from Warwick racecourse on Tuesday for a stable visit. No doubt there will be plenty of interest in the recent success stories and in forthcoming likely winners!
