ONE COOL DADDY LOOKING TO GET BACK ON TRACK

One Cool Daddy - returns to Kempton this evening

One Cool Daddy – returns to Kempton this evening

ONE COOL DADDY is one of 14 runners in a 0-85 handicap over a mile at Kempton tonight (6.25pm) and is looking to get back to form after a disappointing run at Wolverhampton last month.

The 90,000 guineas purchase as a 2yo won on his debut last year as a 3yo in mile novice at Kempton and was then second over course and distance in a Conditions race.  He was then off for over a year before being well beaten in a mile handicap at Dunstall Park 25 days ago.  Hopefully, back on the polytrack and with that run under his belt, he can show some of the ability he displayed last year.

The Scat Daddy colt is drawn four and has the assistance of Robert Winston, who is back on board.  At around 11/1, he looks to have an each-way chance in an open contest in which Merchant Of Venice, Rampant Lion and Bacacarat look dangers.  However, it looks to be one of those races you could run several times and get several different results.
