OLIVE MABEL is one of two stable runners today at Yarmouth when one of 16 runners in the 5.25 and the 3yo filly is a huge price at 16/1.
The drop back to seven furlongs, the low draw (three) the good to firm ground and first-time cheekpieces should all help her cause. Also, the booking of John Egan is interesting. Double the price she’s forecast in the Racing Post, she’s worth a second glance each-way.
Mimram runs in the lucky last, a 6f handicap at 6pm and if she can translate her form on the all-weather (last five races form figures are 21332), she could also be of interest under Jack Duern at 10/1 although she does have a high draw (12) to overcome.
