Lucymai – renews rivalry with Eljaddaaf
LUCYMAI and ELJADDAFF renew rivalry again when locking horns in the 6.40 at Chelmsford tonight, a 0-100 handicap over 7f and the bookies cannot split the pair.
Both horses are 7/2 joint-favourites and both are well drawn, the filly in the prime number one spot with her older stablemate drawn in three. There is only a pound between them in the ratings with the older Eljaddaaf the slightly superior.
Robert Winston rides the son of Shamardal while the Needwood Spirit filly has Jack Duern on board. Maybe, the three times course and distance winner, Lucymai may shade it but one wouldn’t rule out a forecast!
