Sophie Ralston – rides Nicky Baby
NICKY BABY faces an almost impossible task at Chelmsford this evening (8pm) in a low grade handicap over a mile.
The grey son of Dark Angel may be a course and distance winner but that is his only win from 41 starts and he races today 6lbs “wrong” at the weights. Sophie Ralston, who was the winning rider aboard him in April 2019 is again on board but even her 5lb claim is probably not enough to make much difference to this out of form 7yo.
Mike Murphy can do no wrong at present and his Dusty Damsel looks a worthy favourite and much more the idea of the winner.
