Dean Ivory – runs Nicky’s Baby at Kempton
DEAN IVORY has just the one runner today, Nicky Baby, at Kempton in a 6f novice (8.20pm) and the once-raced 2yo grey is the 40/1 outsider of the party.
He made his debut last month at Windsor in a 5f novice and although beaten 12 1/2 lengths, he was green early on but made some good progress late on. He is sure to come on for the run and today’s extra furlong will suit but this looks a tough contest and the favourite, Tibr looks as though he’ll be a tough nut to crack.
Robert Winston is on board, fresh from another success yesterday on Soaring Spirits at Brighton but Nicky Baby is going to have to improve significantly to trouble the judge in today’s company.
